The Raleigh MXR 20 in. kids' bike offers a sturdy, smooth ride for kids as they cruise around the cul-de-sac or follow you on the riverside trail.

Aluminum frame and BMX-inspired rigid steel fork offer strength and resilience for durable performance
Sloped top tube accommodates a short stand-over height and lets kids comfortably put their feet flat on the ground while straddling bike
Single-speed drivetrain with chainguard requires little maintenance or instruction
Rear coaster brake and hand-operated rear brake give kids 2 options to control their speed, letting them learn the nuances of hand-operated brakes with backup of coaster brake
Sturdy 20 in. wheels are outfitted with combo tires for reliable performance on pavement, trails, paths and grass

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly.
