Comments about Columbia Silver Ridge Shirt - Men's:
I live, work and hike in the humid Midwest and I couldn't have asked for a better hiking and outdoor work shirt. Some days I am working all day in the sun and heat and this shirt breathes and dries quickly so it keeps the sun off me and keeps me cool and dry. I just ordered a second one. Would I recommend this shirt to a fried... YES YES YES... A THOUSAND TIMES YES!

Comments about Columbia Silver Ridge Shirt - Men's:
Bought to take on trip to Italy this spring. Weather predicted to be cool and possibly rainy. Shirt was easy to pack, few wrinkles after a day and a half in the suitcase, they disappeared after an hour of wearing. Light to wear and very comfortable. Roll up sleeves a definite plus as weather was quite warm by mid-day. Washed in hotel room sink and dried overnight where other items did not dry completely. No wrinkles afterwards.

I have worn this shirt jungle trekking in New Guinea, and out to dinner wearing jeans and sneakers. Great craftsmanship. Durable. Breathes well. Big comfort!

Comments about Columbia Silver Ridge Shirt - Men's:
This is my "go to" favorite shirt to wear hiking and backpacking. It holds up well and as good quality. I only have one shirt but have worn it on almost all of my backing trips. It's held up remarkably going through some nasty bushwacking off trail through lots of growth subjecting it to abrasion. No rips or tears and the stitching has held up well. I'd like to get another one.

Comments about Columbia Silver Ridge Shirt - Men's:
I own 7 of these shirts. Three of them are a few years old when they were part of Columbia's "Titanium" line. As far as I can tell, the new ones are of the same construction as the Titanium ones.
The best part about this shirt is that it actually looks nice on. The fit is trim and the armholes high compared to other Columbia shirts. Honestly, I was reluctant to try this shirt given that I had previously purchased one of their PFG shirts. (I'm pretty sure PFG stands for Professional Fat Guy.) But the Silver Ridge fits nothing like the PFG gear.
If I could change one thing, I would give it a zippered security pocket in addition to or in place of the velcro pockets.
Also, in spite of the man-made nature of the fabric, it will shrink ever so slightly on you if dried in a drier. But it dries on its own so quickly, just line dry it after washing.
