Very useful item for every day wear. It's light weight and breathable for layering even indoors and the varied pockets are extremely handy. I think the only thing I might add would be a lumbar pocket (like a fishing vest)and change the upper interior mesh pockets to seal-able fabric pockets preferably zipper not Velcro or perhaps buttoned.

I purchased primarily for base camping and hiking / backpacking but I have ended up using the vest as casual wear to work and all around town. This is a great vest with plenty of pockets to store stuff

I like Columbia sportswear and have several vests, jackets etc and several pairs of shoes/boots. I ordered this vest sight unseen with the expectation of the excellent quality I have come to expect from Columbia, and frankly, it fell short. It feels cheap and fits a little small. I will wear it, however, it is inferior in quality to other Columbia gear I have purchased.

I have now used this product for many months and it has held up great. Just suffered a bit of sunburn from a day at the water park. Pop this thing on and you don't even feel the sun even when hiking in full sun. Breaths great, packs small, resists snags and tears.

All the zippered pockets are very nice for those who like to climb trees, scramble up rocks and roll around.

I found myself looking at this vest in the store and walked away from it due to the price. It stayed on my mind and I'll be honest I looked at it a few times online, got made fun of for doing so by the girl friend, and was later convinced (by the girlfriend) to just save up buy it and stop pining over it.

So glad I did.

Great fit, the zippered pockets are awesome, breaths well in hot weather and packs easy if it gets too hot. The UV rating is very nice. It's been used in hot and chilly hikes in Arizona and to storm a few parties. A very fun and versatile item of clothing.

It's an all around awesome vest I couldn't be more happy with. Though while wearing it I feel like I should become more knowledgeable about all things wild and maybe explore a few ancient runes...ADVENTURE!
