Comments about Brooks PureCadence Road-Running Shoes - Men's:
keeps my achiles tendon straight. Felt good in the store on the treadmil. When used on the road and on the treadmil again, it did not feel so great. After the race, my legs were tired as if the shoes were worn out and on the treadmil after the race, I got knee pains on both side on the outside. Something I did not get with my Supernovas from Adidas.
The Brooks feel like there is padding for the heel, but not the front of the foot. Not sure what's going on with those shoes, but they feel like a step down from my Supernovas even if they feel comfortable on the foot (more so than my Supernovas). Did not get blisters from using the Brooks but apart from the knee pain, it just feels like my legs and feet worked out more for the same distance as the Supernovas.
Maybe they are good for people who run slower, but I tend to pound the ground with a pace of under 8mn/miles for an 8k (and looking to improve without injury). Even when running at 6mn/mile on the front of the foot, it feels like I can feel extra weight on the foot.
I'm currently looking at the Adizero models.

Comments about Brooks PureCadence Road-Running Shoes - Men's:
I have about 200 miles in a pair of these, and they are by far the best road shoe I have owned in at least 3 years. They are light enough to race in, without being "minimalist," and sturdy enough for long runs and marathons. I fully intend to buy two to three more pairs of this Brooks offering and keep these on my feet for many miles to come. I can't recommend this shoe enough.

Comments about Brooks PureCadence Road-Running Shoes - Men's:
I run on average nine miles per week for the last year and alternate between Nike Zoom Structure and Brooks Adrenaline GT. I thought to give these a try. They were very comfortable and light and had a nice cushiony feel to them, almost bouncy. After I ran five miles in them my shins, ankles, and feet felt great but my back ache returned. I really liked the shoe and would have loved to keep them but I guess I need a touch more support. To me it seems these shoes favor the mid foot striker. A great shoe but not for me.

Comments about Brooks PureCadence Road-Running Shoes - Men's:
The store attendant was very involved when I picked these out. They helped me fit the right shoe as I tried on two different shoes at once to make the decision. Process of elimination led me to the Brooks PureCadence shoes. I ran them today and could tell the difference right away. No more shin or heel pains!
