The skirt is fairly see-thru/thin and the hem on the one I bought seems lopsided and badly sewn. I like how it swings and it's comfortable, but that weird hem just looks odd. I should have returned it.

This skirt is extremely comfortable and very flattering. I bought it for an upcoming trip to the tropics, but have been wearing it almost everyday since as it is so comfortable. I have worn this skirt almost all winter with Rei airflyte tights and it is one of my favorites. Very comfortable, does not cling, washes great, no wrinkles. Got it on a super sale and now I wish I would have bought extras for gifts. I purchased it in a black medium and hope they make many other colors in the future. It fits perfect and I am 5'5" and 137 lbs.

I have all three of these currently available.
The silt is actually more olive than shown in the photo.
The blue actually has a bit more green in it and matches little in my wardrobe.
Though both colors are pretty.
My hope is that more colors will be produced. Perhaps a true blue, tan, gray.
I would buy more of this skirt if that were the case.
I am 5'2" and usually wear a size 8 or ten jeans. The Large fits right, slightly too long by about an inch or two.
The fabric is not too thin that light colored undies show through.
Quite packable, does not wrinkle easily. Comes out of the dryer wrinkle-free.
There is no bothersome tag.
So far, the fabric has not pilled & remains smooth.

Last year I bought a very similar skirt by Mountain Hardwear (in black) and loved it - great for hiking, BBQ in the backyard with friends, casual date night, anything! Unfortunately for MH, I couldn't find it it any other color that was multi-functional. I stumbled across Patagonia's silt-colored skirt in the store (I don't know if it is me or what, but when I look at the color, I can't figure out if it is more brown or more green! :) Doesn't really matter - the earth color is the perfect shade for my closet!). It's just the skirt to fill in where the black just won't match. Definitely recommend especially since you can wear it from the trail to the night out on the town.
