ActivMotion® hipbelt pivots to follow the natural motion of your hips, helping keep the pack balanced and stable on your back when hiking on uneven terrain

I use this for my day hikes. with 3 little ones hiking with me i end up hauling alot of extra layers and snacks ect...a bit of storage is nice on these outings. however if it was just me its more then needed for just a day trip
