        Our son has worn these shorts constantly since the day we purchased them. The first time he wore them the drawstring waist cord broke---but this has not been a major detractor and these are still his most comfy and durable shorts. Black is a good choice, as they will be taking a daily beating. Zippered side pockets means he can carry small change, a deck of cards or dice and not have to worry about losing them. If the drawstring was more durable this would be a 5-star product!

        My ten year old son likes these shorts. They are comfortable and look great. Unfortunately the elastic string used for tightening the waist broke the FIRST time he wore them. I suspect he had overtightened, but not enough to warrant failure. I will return and try another pair.
