      I am a senior citizen female with a small head. I bought the children's size large but have it adjusted as tight as it goes. The child's medium was a tight fit so I opted for the larger size. I've been wearing it for hiking and golfing while on a trip to the Southwest. It has provided excellent shade and comfort. On windy days I've used the chin strap to keep it anchored. It packed well and am looking forward to using it for all of my outdoor activities.
