A featherweight jacket that doesn't feel like you are wearing it, yet does a good job blocking the wind and the worst of the sun. Good over a jersey with arm warmers, for chilly mornings that get warm later. Wore it all last summer, washed it cold and hung up to dry a few times and it still looks like new.

Comments about Novara Stowable Bike Jacket - Women's:

Looks great, flattering and something I would be willing to wear out and about too. The bright lavender is highly visible without moving into the 'neon' sports only range. Surprisingly good at blocking wind - I'm easily chilled and was able to skip a second layer thanks to this featherweight jacket. The wrist elastic is comfortable while still blocking the wind from sneaking in that way. I wouldn't wear this for a race, but it's perfect for recreational riding or training rides. Plus you aren't embarrassed to walk into a store wearing it. I don't intentionally ride in the rain - but it stood up to a light sprinkle no problem.
