I have owned this jacket for more than one year. On the positive side, it is very light weight, and windproof, and a good jacket for bike commuting on cool mornings. I also use it for running on cool days. The very lightweight fabric is very breathable, and the yellow color of my jacket is very visible. Because it is so very lightweight and packable, it's easy to take this along "just in case", or to remove it and stash it when you get too warm.

On the negative side, this jacket is not waterproof, and isn't really even water resistant. When it rains, the water soaks through almost immediately, and then the jacket turns into a nearly transparent clinging shell (not a good look). I also have a small puncture hole in one arm; I honestly cannot remember when this happened, so I don't know whether it was negligence on my part, or because the fabric is very thin, or a combination of the two. However, I usually own jackets for more than one year before they start to get holes.

On balance, if you live in a dry climate, then this would be worth a look. However, if you are looking for something that can protect you from rain, then it's better to look elsewhere.

It's lightweight and stows nicely, but is no more water resistant than a fleece. Expect to get soaked with 10 minutes of light rain, which is not good for a bicycle commuter on a schedule. I returned this after one wearing and am trying the REI Ultra Light Jacket.

I would only recommend this for dry climates.

Very compact jacket. I started using it at the start of a bike ride, then when I began to warm up quickly and decided to remove the jacket, I can easily fold it very compactly and place it on a bike rack on my bike. Easily stowed away on the rack with lots of other room for my other gear. You may need to "flatten" it out after it's been folded for a while. But overall, I'm very satisfied with it.
