I purchased this jacket for a trip to Italy in the spring. The weather was rainy for 6 of the 11 days we were there. This jacket was waterproof, comfortable, and stylish enough that I didn't think I looked like the average tourist in their bright blue rain slickers. The hood was perfect for days when it was only sprinkling and I didn't want to pull out my umbrella.

I only wish the jacket would have been warmer and a little more wind proof. However, if I layered a sweater, sweatshirt, and this jacket, I was fine most days.

I love this jacket. It's perfect for a commuting professional who needs to stay dry in the wet & mild NW weather. The best part about this jacket is the hood, it's large enough to hold my long hair, even when it's pulled back into a bun. Some other jacket hoods barely cover my hairline, but this jacket offers protection for the face with the brim shape. The hood is also adjustable, so you can tighten it down on windy days. Rain beads off nicely. Love it!

I'm 5'8", 140 lb, and I have a size small, it fits well and would look appropriate with a slacks or a skirt, or casual clothing. It's a winner!

I am giving 4.5 stars because I am very satisfying with the product, but there are some room for improvement. Good quality and very stylish, yet functional. Love the pockets and also the hood to snap on for a sudden shower.

Hope the colar is shorter not to touch the chin. The buttom front velcros should be replaced with the snap buttons not to run my stockings. Water protection in the rain was OK, but not in the stormy condition.
