I bought this tent just before leaving on a four month trip to New Zealand. During that time this tent kept me surprisingly dry as condensation collects on the rain fly rather than the mesh (though on really wet days moisture would occasionally fall off the rain fly and drip through the mesh). This tent is best used as a two-three person backpacking tent (so that you can split the weight), as it's pretty heavy for solo backpackers, but the inside is spacious minus the fact that you can't stand up in it. It survived me sleeping in it almost every night for 4 months, hordes of biting bugs, and I was only unhappy with it when I had to pack it by myself. But since I did a lot of car camping, I needed a hybrid tent for my trip.

My wife and I have used this on numerous trips all over the state. We took this tent with us to Yellowstone in May and enjoyed setting it up and taking it down everyday. The 3 person suits my 6'2" height quite well. The double doors and vestibules are fantastic for keeping boots and packs close. I highly suggest getting the footprint along with: it can make two or three different shelters.
