Comments about Deuter ACT Zero 50 + 15 Pack:
Ive had the pack out twice in a year for a total of 5 days, travelling high and light in the Sierra Nevada. Unpacking from the second trip I noticed two "wear-throughs" on the heaviest, durable fabric on the bottom of the bag. Im pretty careful with my stuff and don't drag it around, and I pack lighter softer things in the bottom of the bag. Also, each trip the pack was 35 lbs or less. I know there was some minor butt-scooting to get down granite ledges the last trip, but holes on the bottom of the bag after two short trips is very disappointing. Also, the pack could be just a little roomier to accept a bear can easier.

Comments about Deuter ACT Zero 50 + 15 Pack:
I have been very happy with this pack, it feels lighter than it's advertised weight of 3lb 6oz. Unlike the other reviewer, my pack (ACT Zero 50+15) is one large compartment and does not have a separate compartment for sleeping bag. I prefer the single large compartment, which I line with a compactor bag and it fits fine. There is quite a bit of space in the removable lid as well.
It is very comfortable and has good adjustability, although I am 6' and have set the adjustable length to the longest setting. This is less about height, however, and more about torso length.
My complaints about the pack are minor:
- the waist belt pocket is rather small-- too small to hold my Nikon Coolpix point and shoot camera without having to squeeze it in there with both hands.
- The side pockets are deep and not easily accessed when wearing the pack. Although the pack has a hydration holder and port, I prefer to drink from a bottle and it makes it hard to grab it without taking off the pack.

Comments about Deuter ACT Zero 50 + 15 Pack:
I got this for backpacking trips, shorter ones. It is great. Super comfortable and durable so far. It adjusts easily for inclines and declines. I love the separate pouch in the bottom for my bag and pad. It also has a hole in the top to feed your bladder line through and a pouch to hold the bladder in the main pouch. The only thing I would make different is ways to attach stuff on to the front of the bag and the side pouches could be a bit better. Other than that I can't complain because this bag feels great mile after mile.
