Comments about MUK LUKS Plaid Knit Legwarmer Boots - Women's - 2010 Closeout:

I really wanted to like these. Unfortunately, they are a very strange fit. The back of the boot sort of worked its way under my heel, and the shoe in general feels like it needs more of a structured fit. It's far too wide in some places, making you wonder if you even have the right shoe on the right foot. There's very little arch support, and the leg-warmer portion is very chunky and the material sits a little awkwardly at the bottom. If the shoe was made to more closely fit the shape of a foot, it might be more comfortable, but there's far too much "wiggle room," and feels awkward to walk around in. Maybe they'll fit someone else better. I just can't find a use for them. They're too distracting to wear. Extremely warm, too. I live in a foggy, oceanside town and these are definitely too heavy for this climate. I'd recommend them for colder weather than what we get here (40's - 80's F). I wouldn't wear them for outdoor activity; the soles are thin, with some grip, but not much. It feels like a house-slipper, but heavier duty warmth in the leg.
