The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Novara Medium Seat Bag:
I bought this bag to carry a few essentials on every bike ride. Small multi-tool, tire levers/tube, that kind of thing. Was debating on the larger expanding seat bag but found this one to be about perfect size for what I was looking for. The mesh pouches on the inside of the bag are a nice touch as well.
I don't carry it there normally, but my iPhone 5 (in LifeProof case) does fit in the bag without difficulty, but not without removing the spare tube first. If you're just carrying a patch kit and levers this bag should do fine. I don't have a CO2 inflator but I imagine it would fit as well.
If you're just looking to carry the basics, this bag should work quite well, but don't imagine carrying the world in it. It's a small bag, but does a small bag's job very well.

Comments about Novara Medium Seat Bag:
This bag is just too small. The saddle strap just bearly fit through the seat rails and crimps the bag so my Cell would not fit in. Looks ok, but overall just a waste of time and effort.

Comments about Novara Medium Seat Bag:
I suppose the quality of the actual bag is acceptable and sufficiently durable. My problem, however, is that it does not fit on my bike. The velcro strap does not fit around my seat post, so I cannot use this bag at all. Not pleased.

Comments about Novara Medium Seat Bag:
Since I finally got my wife onto a bike of her own, I'd had need of a compact way to carry a few essentials with me on our rides around the neighborhood. My Timbuk2 Tandem Panniers are great for my commute, but their bulk is unnecessary for the job. I had wanted the larger expanding seat bag, because, hey, more room. However, It proved too large when I picked it up and took it over to a Novara Fusion identical to my own. The expanding bag, even with the seat adapter removed, would not comfortably fit between the seat and the front bar of the rear rack. I then tried this medium bag, comparing it to the medium Timbuk2 Strap Seat Pack. I preferred the look of the Timbuk2, but it lacked an attachment point for the extra rear light I like to use when it gets dark, and it had no internal structure for organizing its contents. Therefore, the Novara won the day. I've used it on a few rides now, and like the way my tools and patchkit stay in the left and right internal mesh pockets, while my smartphone and keys fit tidily in the center area. I think I might even be able to squeeze in a spare tube.
