The men's Smith Transport snow helmet with Boa® fit system helps shield you from cold air and hard falls with its lightweight construction and dapper good looks.

Hybrid Shell Technology fuses polycarbonate and ABS plastic shells, creating superior protection and modern styling
Ventilation system maximizes airflow to reduce performance-inhibiting goggles fogging
Airflow travels from goggles, through internal channels in the foam and out through 16 external vents
Sliding tab opens and closes vents in of helmet; vents are easy to adjust, even with gloves on
Boa lacing replaces traditional helmet fit systems to provide an even fit without pressure points
With a simple twist of the knob, Boa retracts loose cable and dials in a quick, secure closure
Removable strap on the back secures goggles to the helmet
Performance lining inhibits odor retention, regulates temperature and minimizes static; antimicrobial silver ion treatment is permanently bonded so it will not wear off
Snapfit ear pads are soft and comfortable; remove the pads on warm days or to wash
Smith Transport snow helmet is compatible with Skullcandy™ Bluetooth®, Twin-Tip and Single Shot audio systems, sold separately

I finally broke down and bought a helmet. This one is warm, light, and comfortable, and works very well with goggles by the same manufacturer. Of course the true test will come only when I have a head-bashing fall, so I must reserve final judgment...

I thought it was about time to get myself a helmet for downhill skiing. I tried on a couple of the womens helmets before putting this one on, and I found the Smith Transport to be the most comfortable. I'm not sure there's a real difference between mens and womens models. I've worn the helmet for two days of skiing and hardly noticed that it was on my head. My head stayed warm, and the vents were pretty easy to adjust. My only complaint is that the chin strap could be shorter, it has a lot of extra length that I don't really know what to do with.
