Comments about Smith Intrigue Snow Helmet - Women's:
After my first concussion, I got a helmet, but picked the cheapest one they had, figuring they were all the same. By the second wearing, it had started to pack down and was loose. It was huge, heavy, hot, limited my peripheral vision, and kept getting caught in my jacket. On my first minor low-speed fall, it bounced my head around enough to hurt my neck. I gave it up, figuring a broken neck was no better than another head injury.
After my second concussion, I figured I'd better give helmets another try, but did my research this time. The Intrigue was exactly opposite of that first experience. It's so well fitted and lightweight, it's actually more comfortable than a knit beanie. It's warm without being stuffy and it keeps my goggles firmly on my face when I wipe out. I've had a couple nasty spills on hard pack, including my first scorpion, and this helmet has proven its value. I'm no longer a helmet hater!!
If there was a downside, I would say it's the fabric inside the neck strap and the ear pads. It's awesome and soft and generally extremely comfortable, but on a recent rainy day on the mountain, I found that it retained water pretty badly, which made my ears awfully cold on the lift. It's a very minor drawback, though, since none of my other waterproof and fast-drying gear held up any better that day.

Comments about Smith Intrigue Snow Helmet - Women's:
I am very particular about helmets...they are very rarely attractive and practical. It has very soft fuzzy ear flaps that kept my ears super warm, and you can adjust the ventilation dependng on the weather. I am very happy with my purple helmet.

Comments about Smith Intrigue Snow Helmet - Women's:
This is the second Smith Intrigue helmet I've owned. There are a lot of vents and they slide open easily from the outside. The Boa adjustment is easy to use and work well. The ear pads have a tiny zipper around them that allows earphones to be inserted. It is very comfortable and warm.
I wish they had more color choices and trim. My last one had some designs on it.
