Specialized ski/hike mechanism frees the upper cuff from the lower part of the boot and offers enough movement for comfortable hikes to untouched stashes
When you're ready to ski, the cuffs lock directly into the lower shell to maximize power transmission on the descent

Comments about Salomon Quest Access X70 Ski Boots - Men's - 2011/2012:

I skill throughout the year and lead ski trips for my outdoor program that I run. I needed my own boots and these work great. Whether i'm skiing backwards downhill to watch my students or enjoying the groomers on my own. I like these alot. They run a little narrow but I have a very wide foot. They were a good deal for the price as I bought them on an after winter sale.
