Built for days that take you all over the mountain, the Rossignol Experience 98 skis excel on variable terrain, and they'll hold their own on powder days
Poplar wood core creates a light and lively ski with excellent ski-to-snow feel and superb damping characteristics
Titanal and fiberglass laminates provide powerful stiffness and lively response
Varying shapes of laminates reduce the weight of the tips, making them easier to control
Layered laminates in tips also smooth out turn initiation, improve edge contact during turns and increase side-to-side response
Subtle rocker in tips and tails offers easy steering in any snow condition, and traditional camber underfoot provides tenacious edge grip
Extended sidecut continues beyond the rockered tips and tails, providing full engagement of ski edges during turns at high speeds and easy maneuverability at low speeds
Base or topsheet color may vary from online photo
Requires bindings with wide brakes

by Tmac4718fromPowerful, damp, smooth, stable skiA very damp, smooth, incredibly stable and powerful wider all mountain ski. The magazine reviews are accurate. If you like energetic and a lively feeling ski skip the Rossi 98. It craves speed and feels glued to the snow its so damp. You can get energy out of the ski but you have to put it into it to get it back. Amazing edge grip on steep icy groomers, floats just fine in powder, and bombs through crud. I'm a very aggressive expert skier and my legs got tired quicker than on my other pairs of skis. A very powerful ski that will take whatever you throw at it, just not very lively.
