I am back to being a beginning runner after a 20 year break. Although I want to practice soft running techniques, I am too timid to give up a well cushioned shoe on my first pair, during my first weeks of running. After ordering this shoe, I had a nightmare that the heel would be too big to get the soft running form down. I ran today in these shoes, week two of my couch potato to 5k 8 week plan, and the shoes felt great. I had my fastest time yet. The heel is just maybe a smidge big, but I was still able to hold form. I love the padding and the fit. The shoes feel great.
