Ideal for mixed-weather, aerobic use, the REI Centre Peak women's jacket is a highly breathable, water-resistant soft shell perfect to wear when autumn hikes turn cool and damp.

Breathable Polartec® Power Shield® Pro resists rain and blocks winds to 55 mph; a Durable Water Repellent finish helps the garment shed moisture
Brushed interior wicks moisture and retains warmth
4-way-stretch fabric and articulated sleeves enhance comfortable movement
Full-length front zipper features an interior stormflap and chin guard
1-hand-adjustable hem drawcord and adjustable cuffs seal in warmth

The perfect lightweight jacket for being outdoors in all weather situations yet stylish enough to wear for every day. The jacket has just the right amount of everything you need to keep comfortable while outside without overdoing the bells and whistles. It's waterproof (something this Oregonian needs!), keeps you super warm and fits to the body nicely so you don't look bulky or bigger than you are. Love, love, love it.

I absolutely love this Jacket! I have a long torso and have always had a hard time finding a jacket long enough yet not too wide and bulky until now! I've worn it all winter into weather down to 2 degrees and it's proven to do a wonderful job at blocking the wind. It keeps me quite warm on it's own but I sometimes add a thin zip-up underneath for a little more warmth. It has shown to be quite comfortable even with the added layer underneath. The hood also does a pretty good job of staying up on my head while in the wind and wet weather which is always nice. I definitely plan on taking it with me to Alaska this summer, and any other cooler weather trips I take!

I wear this jacket on a windy beach during the Texas winter. It's very windproof and water resistant. Lightweight jacket fits great over a T-shirt, but is tight over a sweatshirt.

This coat is has a slightly higher price tag but worth every penny! I had been looking for lighter coat that can still keep me warm here in wisconsin most of the winter. My current winter coat has always seamed bulky, it's your basic 2-in-1 columbia jacket & priced at about [$] Thanks REI for helping me find a replacement so light yet it does a great job of keeping me warm.

This jacket is perfect for a casual day out when its not too sunny. It will not help during windy days. It can be used as a snug warmer beneath a windproof jacket.
Its perfect for the winters in tropical countries like India where it doesn't really get cold.
