Comments about REI Acme Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
This is truly an outstanding pant. I use it primarily for hiking, but it performs and adapts to virtually any condition I've run into. In cool, windy weather, it's comfortable and sheds water, dirt, etc. At first, I wasn't sure of the Schoeller Nano-fabric and whether it was just marketing hype, but I've found the pant really lives up to what it says it will.
Also, the pant seems to create a very comfortable micro-climate. I know that sounds funny, but in cold weather, it was very comfortable inside, no chill, sweating, etc.
Also, I own the REI Mistral pant too. While it's also a very good pant, the fabric doesn't perform quite as well as the REI Acme pant. You pay alot more for the Schoeller fabric, but the Swiss have really stepped up the performance characteristics as well.
You can't go wrong with this pant...a bit spendy (but worth it). I bought mine during one of REI's 20% off one item sale....but this pant will become a favorite very quickly.
Also, just one other note about REI branded outdoor gear. REI has really come along way on their REI gear. It's second to none now in terms of technology and performance and provides a better value than some of the big brands...

Comments about REI Acme Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
Used these for 3 straight days on a Colorado pack-in elk hunt. Very comfortable even over long johns. Wore them with a heavy pack frame and a smaller daypack and never had any problems. Material is quiet and strong.

Comments about REI Acme Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
Amazing pants! Very stretchy, breathable and comfortable. I use them in the gym, running, any aerobic activity really. When it gets cold I throw tights on underneith and all is well, this layering holds up to the single digits while moving around and exercising. Outer material is abrasion reistant as well, I am very pleased with them. The only gripe that I have is that the legs are a tad thin, so wearing them with full size boots looks a bit funny, I would recommend these pants to everyone except guys with thick legs to waiste ratio.

Comments about REI Acme Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
These pants are extremely versatile. I wear them not only for outdoor activities, but going out as well. Pair them with a sweater and it really works. Many, many compliments from my wife as well. I'm ordering at least 1 more, which to me is the highest compliment.

Comments about REI Acme Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
This pant was a replacement to a trusty old pair. Couldnt be happier. The fabric feels great and soft on the inside and durable on the outside. Kept me dry and mostly warm when covered in ice on OR's south sister. Really like the way they strech and breath and shed water and snow. Only four stars because ive only had them for a few months. Great product
