Comments about Nordica Nemesis:

I recently demo'd these ski's in Park City and just had to have them. I ski'd my set for the first time today and they were amazing. I am 5'5 and bought the 161's and I am so glad I did. I went back and forth on possibly getting the 153's but the ski shop guys in park city said that if I could handle the 161's the extra length would give me extra stability. We ski mostly on the east coast so I wanted a ski that was "All mountain" but also very good on groomers.

I also demo'd the blizarrd Black Pearls which were suppossed to be a hot ski this year and IMHO they didnt even compare to the nemesis. The nemesis is amazing in the crud, the groomers, and even on ice.(Haven't ski'd powder yet) The grip and the ease of turning was incredible. I hadn't bought new ski's in about 8-9 years so I felt it was time for a technology upgrade. I am so impressed. My husband said it's like skiing with a totally different person.

I consider myself an advanced intermediate to possibly an advanced skier and these skis give me so much more confidence. I am not an agressive skier, I am more of a cruiser.

At first I thought they might be a little wide for an east coast ski but I love the feel, the turning ability, and the stability. The folks at the ski shop said don't force it, just let them float and they will do all the work for you and they are right. I am so happy with this purchase and they were great under all conditions. I usually hate runs that have inconsistant snow but these skis reacted great when I would go from Ice to a puffy patch to hard pack.

They are very wide underfoot so they need a wide binding. I went with the Marker squire 110's.
