Comments about K2 Turbo Dream Snowboard - 2011/2012:

I'm 6'-2" tall weighing 205 lbs and I bought it in the 160W size because it was the largest one remaining in stock. If REI had any larger in stock, I would have chosen that (smallest board I've ever owned prior was 164cm).On icy surfaces, it doesn't hold an edge quite as well as my '06 Arbor A-Frame does, but that was expected. On choppy loose snow and in deep powder this board is really at home. I can't describe it any better than floating; it floats over choppy crud with ease and surfs in the deep stuff like nothing I've ridden before. At the same time, it's perfectly at home cruising groomers and it's base is quite fast. I was tempted by Jones, GNU, and Arbor boards but in the end I chose the K2's no-nonsense flatline board profile because it seemed like a healthy moderate between traditional and reverse cambers. If you don't want to lock yourself down to a strictly 'pow' or 'park' board, I highly recommend giving the Turbo Dream, or any other of K2's flat camber boards, a serious shot. At [$]retail, over $100 less than its competitors, this K2 has really great bang for your buck.
