Loop on tongues help you put boots on and correctly seat the tongues
Carbon steel buckles are 5 times stronger than magnesium, allowing the buckles an extremely low profile without a sacrifice in durability
Top 2 cuff catches are easily moved to fit varying leg shapes; catches have a whopping 44mm range—22mm forward and 22mm back

if you have a real high volume foot that is wide as well, this will not fit you. that said, it is the closest fitting out of the box experience i have had. the uppers are very constricting and almost do not overlap to seal out water & ice if you have high volume feet like me. this would be a great fit for someone with moderately wide feet like E but for me EEE it is not even close. i wish someone would hear the cry of all of us wide footed people in the ski boot industry! it is sad that this boot is the best i have found so far. i bet if there were good wide boots available a whole new mass of people would take up skiing because right now we cannot ski unless we spend huge $ and a whole day with a bootier so they can stretch our boots to fit. my last boots cost me $1000 by the time they sort of fit... and they are not that great even after that. this industry is completely ignoring a large group of potential customers... it is sad and painful.
