Purchased to use in the future for backcountry snowboarding, also as a day hiking bag and an around-town bag.What's nice:Fits a 15" Macbook Pro with room for other things, which will make it nice for around town and work. it has pockets in the smaller pocket for a phone and other accessories like pens. It is 18L vs 19L, like the REI Stoke bag, which I was going to go for, but looks far smaller due to shape despite having a greater capacity. It's just the right size for a day hike. It's also very light--I can't even tell I'm wearing it at all, which is nice since it is supposed to have skis/boards buckled onto it.In the picture it looked a little more lavender than it actually is, it is definitely straight up gray. What's not so nice: The goggle pocket liner is NOT fleece. It is tan velour. Ick. And the rest of the inside liner is this absolutely hideous tie dye based around light blue and bright orange. Whoever designed the color scheme for the inside of this must have been blazed. Luckily that is all on the inside; the outside looks great. But those inside choices are probably why it's on clearance.The hose for your reservoir comes out through the same hole shared by the top ski buckle, which looks like it will be a little awkward, but oh well. Overall a good deal at [$] after coupon and clearance.
