Comments about Giro Selector Bike Helmet:
I have a 57 cm head which should have allowed me to wear either of the two sizes. I normally wear a medium but Giro decided to combine the medium into the large and small. I got the large size and put the helmet on the smallest size but the helmet bounced around on my head. I then put on the small size on the largest setting but the helmet dug into a pressure point over my ear. I decided to get the small size and shave out about 2 mm of padding. It now fits like a glove.
The helmet is supposed to have a vent system through the visor then out the back. I can feel a small breeze but not very much. Because of the lack of air going over my face sweat pours down my face and onto the visor after 10 minutes of riding. The visor can be taken off though. I decided to wear a very thin headband to soak up the sweat instead.
Overall the helmet is nice but doesn't fit nearly as well as the Giro Advantage 2. And the adjustment in the rear looks like a piece that will easily fall out in the future.
