A reviewer had mentioned before that the zipper for the sheath surrounding the water line on the right shoulder strap froze over while they used it... it *does* indeed freeze.

I'm in agreement with the other reviewer in that if they would've used larger teeth for the zipper this problem could have been avoided.

My first time using this product was snowboarding in deep soft/powder snow. Everything started off fine the first few runs were working out fine, but after about an hour bombing through the snow the zipper that allows access to the water tube iced over and i couldnt open it. Sure i may have crashed a few times but there was snow flying everywhere. I think this problem could be remedied by stashing a hot hands in the zipper pouch. I suppose the real problem is the zipper teeth are so fine that they easily allow snow to cover them up, a larger tooth should have been utalized. The only other problem I noticed was that the zipper pull was very difficult to see with my goggles, dont think that could be avoided though. I cant wait to use this pack snowshoeing, I think that it will be more useful in that setting. Otherwise i was pleased with construction and ammount of storage.
