Comments about MSR Lightning Ascent 22 Snowshoes - Women's:
I would buy these over and over again. My husband and I both bought the MSR Lightings and we found we didn't have to modify our gate hardly at all, which is not what I've found in the lesser priced shoes that are out there. Extremely grippy; I rarely lost traction whether I was on ice, wet snow or powder. We went through some pretty steep grades and never had a problem. We rarely had to go sideways down or up hills. And the "Televators" were EXCELLENT! REALLY came in handy, saving us additional strain on our calf muscles climbing the super steep hills. They were super easy to get on and off. We will be buying the modular tails for deeper terrain.

Comments about MSR Lightning Ascent 22 Snowshoes - Women's:
I just bought this pair of snowshoes for going on search and rescue missions in King County. I recently used the Women's Lightning Ascents to hike around Keechelus Lake in the Central Cascades and to do some off-trail exploring. These snowshoes were great for staying afloat in the fresh powder (I'm 170 with a pack on), but also for scrambling over rocks, crossing a creek, and climbing a 60-degree slope. They were easy to maneuver in small spaces, and I had no problems moving around a little camp space with them. I only had to adjust the straps once over a 5-hour trip. Finally, I love that these snowshoes are a local product, made here in Seattle. I couldn't have dreamed of a better pair of snowshoes.

Comments about MSR Lightning Ascent 22 Snowshoes - Women's:
I love these snowshoes. They have great grip on icy, steep slopes and really good float. I've only used these snowshoes twice, but both times I tested them in backcountry and they were great!
In terms of aesthetics, the bindings look a little untidy, but they work great!! These are a great choice. Hopefully, these will last a long time.
