Comments about Injinji Midweight Mini Crew Toesocks:
These are a softer, much better feeling fabric than Injinji's original thinner toe socks. Like the originals, they lack durability. Several months of use (40+ miles per week) and holes are worn in them. However they are highly effective in preventing those blisters which form on the sides of my toes when the toes rub together. I have not found another similar product from a different manufacturer so although these are pricey and lack durability I'll keep buying and using them for lack of other options.

Comments about Injinji Midweight Mini Crew Toesocks:
I was doing P90X with my Five Fingers and picking up blisters during Plyometrics because of all the jumping and spinning. I bought these for the extra cushion and they have far exceeded my expectations.
I not only don't get any hotspots or blisters anymore, but my feet feel a lot happier after workouts due to reduced shock from the cushioning. I have moved from working out on a cushy mat to straight on my hardwood floors because I have better balance and my feet still feel better protected than before these socks.
As for the toe size, I think this is simply due to variation in toes. I actually thought the toe pockets were a tiny bit short at first, but they have since relaxed and fit great.

Comments about Injinji Midweight Mini Crew Toesocks:
I run 20-30 miles per week in Vibram Five Fingers, with sub-freezing temperatures common during winter. I purchased these socks to aid in keeping my feet warm during the run. Tests in ~40F temperatures suggest the thicker material will help somewhat with temperature.
Unfortunately, the occasional thick seams and too-long toe pockets common to Injinji socks (I own maybe 10 pair spread amongst three models) are more apparent in this thicker material.
To be fair, those same quality issues in the thinner models haven't caused me any problems (in runs up to 10k). The couple pair of this midweight model I've tested (a couple 5-6k runs) also seem to perform acceptably. I remain concerned, however, that as my mileage increases the bunched fabric may promote hotspots.
