I run recreationally on a daily basis (2-6 miles/day). I am also a barefoot advocate and have always found my running shoes the most awkward pair of shoes I wear. I used to run in Nike Prestos and loved them until someone told me I was destroying myself with so little support. I found more injuries from wearing a heavily cushioned sneakers than the many, many miles I had run in my Prestos. I decided to go back to a minimalist sneaker and the Saucony Hattori has really impressed me thus far. It feels secure and very natural. It's an extension of my foot with just enough padding to not feel every pebble.
They're a little tough to get on and off, but it definitely makes it feel more secure once it's on.

I've been running in these shoes 2-3 times per week since late September, and I love them! I experienced some initial discomfort in my calves due to the change in footstrike, but that was expected and was remedied within a few weeks. Since them all of my prior foot pains have disappeared! These are extremely lightweight and feel almost like running barefoot. It's a bit sloppy running in them in the rain, but I figure once I get another pair they'll have ample time to dry out in between runs. I've read other reviews that say they run small, but I find them true to size since I don't wear socks with them. I was excited to find them in black (I'm not typically a bright colors kind of gal) on another site, and will be purchasing them soon!

I wear these shoes to cross fit everyday, they are awesome! I run, lift, jump and more these shoes have been my best friend for a couple months now and are still my pick over the finger-toe shoes and others.
