      Prior to my first backpacking trip, I was concerned about odor. I sweat a lot & since it was summer, I wanted to pick up a wool baselayer but couldn't justify spending the money on a women's Smartwool long-sleeve when I already own synthetics.

      While browsing the kids' section one day, I found a random Icebreaker on a rack of REI-brand baselayers. My sister told me online forums rave about the Icebreaker brand so I decided to give it a try.

      At 200, this is a good mid-weight baselayer. Plus, it comes with a BaaCode, which means you can trace your garment back to the sheep!

      Overall, I am happy with my purchase. Unlike most other kids' items, this has a comfortable fit for an adult woman at a fraction of the price for merino wool!
