I purchased these boots during the summer when it was a Deal of the Day at a great price! I really didn't start wearing them until the fall when school began. I'm a teacher who teaches in 2 buildings so I like to wear something durable, comfortable and great for all kinds of weather. We haven't had a lot of snow yet and our temperatures haven't been much below 30 yet, so I don't know how they'll be in the winter.
So far, they've been very comfortable to teach in (on my feet most of the day). I wear socks that come up past the boot height, so I haven't had the problems others have mentioned about them rubbing on their legs. I have a bad ankle and appreciate having the stability.

Having several pairs of Keen shoes and loving each pair~I purchased these when I needed a pair of low black boots. I wear uniform black boots for work everyday and I thought these would be perfect..after all they are Keen and I always love there fit and style. I had problems with the boots from the first day. The leather from the ankle top area started to dig into the sides of my legs leaving marks. I had assumed the leather would just need to break in so I started to wrap my legs with ankle wrap but after two weeks I saw no difference. The only change that helped was by not utilizing the top lace hole so the laces were tied lower almost like a regular shoe...The mistake Keen made with these shoes was by not adding a padding around the top which easily would have made these a perfect shoe.

I ordered a size 10, my usual size. The boot fit perfectly. Except for when I tried to walk around in them. They started to dig into my legs just above my ankles and were super uncomfortable. So unfortunately I [...]return them (I don't live near a store anymore). They looked like high quality shoes though and looked like they would be waterproof. One small thing - the front part of the shoe looks very wide! I didn't notice it as much when I had them on, but they had a "clown shoe" feel to them ...
Service and delivery comments:
They arrived quickly and in good condition, but I didn't realize you had to pay for shipping to return them, or I never would have risked purchasing them to begin with. Amazon has a great return policy for that kind of thing that I've gotten used to. So unfortunately I had to spent almost a quarter in shipping on what I spent on the product itself. Bummer!
