needed a solid minimalist style watch. this watch is excellent because-

1. it has tritium markers, not the painted one but the gas tubes;
2. very easy to read at night;
3. the screw-in setting knob is a good feature;
4. the setting knob at 4 o'clock is good;
5. though it looks bulky, it's very light in weigh;
6. this watch band does not give me the farmer tan or the sweat band and is very comfortable for all day wear;
7. the watch is accurate at 1 second loss per day.

what would rock is if-
1. the second hand is painted in another color to contrast the rest of the watch;
2. use orange-color markers;
3. use a different color marker for 12 o'clock.

Since I've purchased this watch over a month ago I've only taken it off twice; both times because I had a formal business meeting. Other than that it stays on 24/7. It's so light I forget its there. Also, the tritium inserts make it extremely easy to read at night. I've worn it swimming, fishing, biking and to work. The design of the one piece strap is great. It gets a lot of looks and I've been asked several times what kind of watch it is. This is a great watch. I would give it 5 stars but I've only had it a little over a month. Also, it could use a date function like the A2T model but that's minor to me.
