The Diamondback Clarity 2 road bike provides a comfortable ride on smooth pavement—perfect for cruising from 1 urban destination to the next.

Made of lightweight 6061 aluminum tubing; frame sizes and geometry accommodate a woman's inseam and torso lengths
Flat handlebar allows an upright seated position for comfort on long rides; easy-to-use Shimano shifters let your hands remain in steering control while shifting

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly. Prior to this purchase, I was riding a road bike I purchased off of [@] while in law school (read: cheap). I decided to start commuting about 10-15 miles to work each way, which required taking a tow path that my poor road bike couldn't handle. Enter this amazing hybrid. I fell in love the first day I rode! It handles the tow path and other questionable terrain just as well as flat road surfaces! It is so much more light weight than my previous bike, which has been fantastic! I'm also using it for exercise because I enjoy being on it (and outside) so much! Oh, and being a girl, it's so cute!
