I needed a reliable work shoe that was slip resistant. I am a manager on my feet at a fast pace for hours at a time. I also have suffered from plantar fasciitis and never wanted that injury again. These shoes were suggested to me by several people in my field, but I wasn't convinced they were worth the price. I had tried them on before and the looser fit around the heel was awkward. A sales associate at REI was wearing them when I was buying snow boots and I asked her if they lived up to their hype. She explained that she'd worn them for years, loved them and would never have anything else. I tried some on and she educated me more about the fit and the rocking motion that ones foot has in them. She said it would take some getting used to and if I didn't like them I could return them, even if I wore them a couple of weeks. That sold me. Once I became accustomed to the fit I forgot they were there. I now wear them every day I work and have no foot or leg pain. I especially love the room in the toe. I feel very secure in them and am thankful for the helpful advice that convinced me to try them.

I should have listened to the sale personnel when purchasing. There should be finger of space at the heal when finding your size. I bought the first pair snug and hurt the nerves on the top of my foot. Now after getting the correct size they are very good at work and shopping etc.

One of my coworkers recommened these shoes as I am on my feet all day and my back has been really hurting as well. Since I got these and have gotten used to them they are very comfortable and my back is feeling good too. You definatley have to get used to them.

I have owned a black pair of oiled clogs and wore them for 7 years and was extremely happy with them so I chose to buy another pair of dansko clogs. I found that the scuffs show a little more on this brown pair but otherwise I am extremely happy with my new pair. They were comfortable from day one and remain so.

I bought a pair of Dansko's after being advised they would help relieve my plantar fasciitis pain. Guess what - they really do! I can wear these shoes all day and my pain is practically nonexistant. My only problems are that they are very hot and not good for walking on uneven terrain. But as long as they relieve my pain, I can live with those things.
