Comments about Keen Silverton Boots - Women's:
Spent an hour in my local REI trying these on. I usually wear a 7.5 in Keens, unless they run small (like the Venice), and had to go up to an 8.5 in these. Just got them today, and I'm loving them so far. Tried the Bern baby Berns, but they have no traction. Not good in MN in December!

Comments about Keen Silverton Boots - Women's:
This was my first pair of non-hiking/winter boots I have ever purchased. My requirements were that they be something I could wear around town in my everyday life, that they be waterproof, and that they provide some sort of traction (most boots have smooth bottoms). These boots do all of that. They maybe aren't as cute of a style as I would like to wear, but practicality won out in this case. But they do have their own flare of style and i still get compliments for them. Overall I find them to be a good purchase.

Comments about Keen Silverton Boots - Women's:
I use these boots around town mostly. They have excellent traction on slippery, icy, snowy streets and are comfortable and look good to boot! I have wide feet and fairly thick calves, but they fit beautifully and comfortably. The sizing was accurate and I usually wear medium weight socks with them. They were comfortable from day one and only get more comfortable. If you are a fan of Keen, you will love these boots for cold weather. I haven't taken them on any serious hiking but have walked plenty in them and they are seriously comfortable.

Comments about Keen Silverton Boots - Women's:
I own another pair of Keens (hiking), but they are usually caked in mud and not ready for travel/work. I fly to a lot of colder climates for my work, and I wanted something fashionable, durable, and ready for snow/rain. I bought a pair of Mudd ankle boots 1 year ago trying to be cheap, and they already got a hole in the soles. These are perfect! I've worn them with leggings to go skiing, tights and a skirt for traveling (super easy in airports with no laces or buckles!), skinny jeans for a Christmas party. I dont have wide calves, but I like everything to be loose. I'm 5'8, 145lbs, and a size 8/10. I've tried on A LOT of the knee high boots and have not liked how tight and uncomfortable they feel. I love these boots because they are snug without being tight, its like wearing a nicely fitted glove. They really keep your feet warm and toasty without getting sweaty and gross. If you are even considering these boots, the only downfall is the price.

I love Keen products, I have several pairs of their shoes. They usually work for me. I was excited that these boots were wide width. But when they arrived, I had to shove my foot into them- no way could I have worn them for any length of time. I returned them.

Comments about Keen Silverton Boots - Women's:
I needed new winter boots since my ones from last year were no longer waterproof. These were more expensive that I had been considering, but they are well worth it. My feet stay warm and dry, and never get too warm even when I'm indoors. They have good traction which is important to me since I have hip issues. The tall shaft is comfortable and I like the style.
