        These function well most of the time. The Velcro attachment at the back doesn't necessarily hold tight all the time and seems to be common among others I've seen with the product. Wear around the cleat seems to be common as well.

          It was turning cold and it was either buy some new gear or put away my bike for the winter. I found these covers in the clearence bin and they looked great. I brough my cycling shoes with me, so I knew they fit perfect. I've worn them on days it was too cold and they did a great job of keeping my toes toasty. I have no experience with their use in rain so I can not speak to the effectiveness of keeping my feet dry but they work great for keeping them warm.

            I bike commute 8 miles a day in Portland Oregon. I've been using a cheaper bootie that did the job okay, and also shredded quickly. These are great -- high quality, warm, and, so far at least, waterproof. I think they'll last longer than the cheaper ones I used to wear. Easy to get on and off. The only drawback is the smallest size is a medium, which is still a little long for my women's 6.5 shoe, and my regular sneakers (not bike shoes) I ride in are little wider than the booties are meant for, but they still work.
