Comments about Eagle Creek Kensley Shoulder Bag:
This bag is great. The interior and exterior pockets are good for keeping organized. The bag seems to be plenty roomy for carrying the usual purse essentials, plus a book and lunch. I've been using this every day for about a week and I'm really happy with it. I plan to take it abroad on a 10 day trip and know that it will easily fit the travel essentials, like a guidebook and some snacks for the plane.
My only complaint is that the clips at either end where the shoulder strap and crossbody strap clip in is pretty small, so all the buckles get jammed together and don't move easily. The other downside is that the zipper is a bit stiff and the purse has to be zipped closed using both hands. Not a huge deal, though, I would still give it 5 stars and maybe the zipper will get zippier over time.

Comments about Eagle Creek Kensley Shoulder Bag:
I love this bag! I was looking for a cross body bag that was big enough for a larger flat wallet, keys, sunglasses, cell phone, a book, but not so big I would fill it up with a ton of bricks. I had to stop carrying bags on my shoulder due to neck pain and have been looking for a bag like this for months. I like the canvas fabric-it is durable and won't rub off like leather or fake materials. THe two smaller zipped pockets sold me on the bag. One for my phone and one for my security card to get into work. They are zipped in and secure but not difficult to remove. THe inside orange color is nice too. The strap is comfortable and doesn't dig in and the fabric doesn't show dirt. I love that the shape is structured but not so stiff that the bag won't curve around your body and lay nicely. The only thing I would change is to make the metal pieces not so shiny-I'm not a shiny metal accent person but prefer a brushed pewter metal look. And the price was pretty steep, but now that I've been using it a few weeks I love it more then all the bags I own put together. You will be really pleased with this bag. I actually took all my other bags to the [@] last week because they are all subpar now. The shoulder strap is also a nice touch in case you need to grab the bag in a hurry.

Comments about Eagle Creek Kensley Shoulder Bag:
I wanted a bag that wasn't a backpack that was versatile enough for everyday use and would go with any outfit (I was sick of moving stuff from bag to bag depending on the day). This bag is great, regardless of whether I'm on my way to exercise or in a suit jacket. It's definitely roomy enough to hold a book, planner, cardigan, umbrella, water bottle/coffee mug, some snacks, etc.
Pros:
-Can use in lots of settings, great for travel (especially with the security zipper feature)
-doesn't show dirt (I have the dove color) and is made of a durable material.
-front pockets are surprisingly easy to use. I can fit a smartphone in one, and a carabiner full of keys in the other without it looking seriously lumpy.
-option of shoulder and crossbody strap is really convenient
cons: The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is that the cross body strap can cut into your shoulder after a long time. This is largely my fault, though, for making the bag heavy with my stuff. You can't really expect a bag like this to have one of those shoulderpad things that laptop bags do. The short shoulder strap is pretty comfortable.
summary: I'm so pleased with this bag, definitely worth the investment. I pretty much can't justify buying any more bags because this bag satisfies so many roles so stylishly :)

Comments about Eagle Creek Kensley Shoulder Bag:
I commute to work by bicycle or train, so this bag with the longer strap is a great messenger bag. I bought it 3 weeks ago, after a trip to Hawaii - where I wished I'd had it with me. It's become my main purse plus it totes a book, lunch, my 16 oz metal bottle, etc. I also like the shorter strap, for less active activities such as dinner out and hanging out. I only use one strap at a time. I like the exterior fabrics and materials, with the reflective grey pattern... safe for biking in evening. Also the bag is small enough to slide easily into my bicycle basket. I do not like that the longer strap slides a little and doesn't stick to my preferred adjustment (most noticeable when running) and the orange interior fabric is fine but wouldn't be my first choice in color. Also my iPad does fit in the bag, however it'd be perfect if there was an actual interior sleeve/pocket for it, to be snug.
