Keen Revel winter boots bridge the gap between heavy-duty winter pac boots and lightweight hikers with these waterproof, insulated, trail- and winter-friendly hybrids.
- Waterproof nubuck leather uppers protect your feet from weather, abrasion and cold air
- Cotton/polyester linings feature KEEN.DRY™ waterproof, breathable membranes to keep feet dry while wicking sweat away
- 200g KEEN.WARM™ insulation uses a mix of bamboo charcoal and polyester fibers to ensure warmth and comfort in chilly conditions
- Footbeds feature a 3-layer design that includes a warm, moisture-wicking wool top layer, heat-trapping middle layer and a thermal heat shield bottom layer to keep out cold
- Compression-molded EVA midsoles deliver cushioning for higher impact activities
- Thermoplastic urethane shanks supply stability and support on uneven terrain
- Nonmarking, dual-climate rubber outsoles on the Keen Revel winter boots feature 4mm multidirectional lugs for superior traction on snowy and icy surfaces

bought pair of Vasque winter hiking boots instead. Love them - most comfortable winter hiking boot I've ever owned. Boot comes well above ankle - gives great support and lessons fear of twisting/breaking ankle on snow/ice/rough terrain.

These boots are very comfortable and not too heavy making them good for going out about town or hitting the trail. While they are pretty forgiving, you may want to give them a little breaking in before going on an all day hike or something like that.
I recently took them on a weekend backpacking trip to Point Reyes and they performed very well. They kept my feet warm and dry going through mud and puddles. No rain to really test their waterproofiness but I have no hesitations taking them out snowshoeing this weekend. Traction seemed good as I didn't experience any slipping or falls along the trail, although I was using trekking poles for the more precarious parts of the trail.
Overall, it's a great product and I wouldn't hesitate buying them again.

These were a great find. I needed something that will last longer than two Chicago winters and so far things are looking good. They are warm and waterproof which were my main criteria. A little heavy for daily wear but hey my feet are warm.

Got these about 2 months ago and wanted to use them for a litte bit before making a review. Use them primarily for geocaching. Work great in cold weather and going through snow. My feet have never gotten wet. Use these with REI's lightweight socks. Both are great products. When springs come will look at buying a spring/summer hiking boot from REI. Hope to have the same results as the winter hiking boots.

I've owned these for about a week now and so far they've seen some trails and some negative temperatures. They are quite delightful to wear and keep your toes pretty cozy. I've hiked about 10 miles of trail so far and warn them just about everyday all day and have yet to find anything wrong with them. I wanted a lower to mid ankle winter boot so I don't have to always put my tall winter boots on, and instead I found a great all purpose all weather condition boot. Extremely happy.

Used these as a riding boot during the winter until it rained! I was told by the sales lady that these were waterproof but they were far from it. My whole foot and sock were soaked.
