          This paddle had a good feel to it, but I am concerned about the durability of it. After a couple weeks I noticed that the finish on the handle started cracking at the seams and shortly after started chipping away. Not having abused the paddle with many hard hits to the handle, it shouldn't have been cracking as it did. Besides the durability of the handle, everything else was pretty good. Because of the cracking, I returned to REI and got a new paddle.
