This was a great purchase for me. The liner is warm and the shell cuts through the wind wonderfully. I was spoiled by my last jacket that had large mesh pockets on the inside, otherwise I love this coat.

This columbia jacket is the 2nd one I have had the pleasure of owning & I simply love the versatality of it. The liner with the reflective heat can be worn by itself without any problem down into the mid 30's at least. The outter shell gives the protection from a wet messy day. Just love the electronics pockets. Very useful.

Visability is adequate night time could be better.
I live on an island, I use it when crossing the lake in foul wheather, About 3/4 of a mile. It stops the wind,rain and cold, 35 degres 40 - 50 Mph wind in an open boat. And that's without the liner. Sofar the liner has been too warm.
