Comments about Columbia Glacier-to-Glade ll 3-in-1 Insulated Jacket - Men's:
After doing a bunch of research on the products and manufacturing that goes into Columbia gear, I found that there's little, if anything, that beats it for the price.
This jacket is warm, and while it doesn't say "windproof" it certainly blocked a good deal of it over the past few windy days here in Boston. The insulating layer is poofy, almost too much for city walking. Again though very warm. In the back country this jacket would undoubtedly perform exceptionally well.
I was looking for a jacket that I could wear around town (especially when it gets really cold) and for hiking/camping in the White Mountains. This jacket is a bit bulky for city walking, but on the positive side, it adds to the mental model of 'warmth' and 'comfort', both of which this jacket is.
Great jacket, great value.

I bought this for my husband; he refuses to wear anything else. He says that it's bulky, but he doesn't mind because it's so warm and waterproof, even on a long hike in the rain.

Comments about Columbia Glacier-to-Glade ll 3-in-1 Insulated Jacket - Men's:
I use this jacket daily and for winter sports. The lightweight inside layer is sufficiently warm for cold weather activities without the added bulk of the waterproof shell.
This is the first jacket I've owned that is comfortable around my neck when zipped up all the way. It's also my first jacket with the internal goggle pockets which I love (I use them to hold my hat and gloves.)
Overall this is a great jacket and there are only two things I dislike. First, the sleeves feel one inch too long, but a smaller size jacket felt too tight in the chest. Second, the hand warming pockets of the interior layer are not very good at keeping items from falling out because they are not sewn high enough at the bottom of the pocket, so those are not good pockets for keys or a phone.
Overall, this is the best winter jacket I have owned so far.

I recently wore this jacket on a snowboarding trip to Sugarbush, VT. It kept me sufficiently war while being very comfortable. Unlike many other jackets, this one does not restrict my arm movement in anyway. Simply stated, this is a great jacket!

Comments about Columbia Glacier-to-Glade ll 3-in-1 Insulated Jacket - Men's:
The material is hight tech to the degree that both jackets, the inner and the shell, are as thin as a basic windbreaker, in my opinion. At first, especially from someone who used to associate thickness with warmth, I had doubts about it's ability to keep me warm. I soon discovered in 18 degree weather with 15mph winds at 10,000 feet, that I was wrong. In fact, the worse the weather got, the warmer I seemed to be. The hood kept me plenty warm without a wool cap underneath. If I would have had a fleece under layer and wool cap, I probably would have been too hot.
Could not fit pros in the space provided so will list here:
Hood adjusts to small opening if needed.
Attractive jacket, but the inner jacket color, an off yellow, isn't very attractive. A brown would have been nice.
Warm, light.
Powder skirt is nice feature, easy to use.
Band around the face of the hood.
Cons:
Sleeve openings in the inner jacket needs some elastic. They are too wide, letting air in and heat out. Shell sleeve openings have a velcro closure, which is rough feeling if not positioned just right.
Pockets are kind of high.
Wind guard underneath zipper gets stuck in zipper when you try to zip the shell up high.
Arm pit vent zippers are nice feature and plenty long, just a little hard to unzip quickly with one hand. Not that big of a complaint in the big picture.
Overall a nice jacket for most winter sports and conditions.

My husband found this coat to be the one he's always been looking for. It's not bulky and very comfortable when driving. He hasn't used the jacket below 40 degrees yet, but already feels it won't be a problem in keeping him warm during colder weather.

Fit feels a little tight, but not too bad. I bought it for a ski trip out to Jackson, and it did wonderfully both walking around town and on the mountain. Since I only plan on using it a couple times a year, I'm hoping it'll last for many many years!

I do alot of hiking and camping, and this jacket is nice because of the layers. The inside layer is also very stylish and an akward but nice color.

The jacket is comfortable! The elastic wrist strap of the inner jacket's right sleeve does not fit as tightly as the left sleeve. Not a big deal.

I use this jacket everyday, it is very convenient with the removeable liner (which can be worn by itself). I was very comfortable being out in icey wind chills as well as days that warmed up.
