Used it today for the first time on the Daff. Classic. Very resistant to the RAIN and HAIL we experienced for over a third of the 41 miles.
Outdoor temp this am 39 degrees with a brisk cool wind so added arm warmers over the top of a long sleeved cycling jersey AND a lighter cycling jacket. Just right to stay warm without overheating.

I've worn this jacket twice on 25 mile rides. The zippered underarms allowed ventilation without getting wet. The fit is very flattering- very slenderizing for those of us who aren't "cyclist thin". The sleeves are long on me but I'm petite and this did not come in petite sizes. Great jacket for moderate temperatures.

I was recently in a cycling accident. It is like some crazy nightmare that keeps playing over and over in my mind. It was early and it was raining. I had my lights on and my waterproof/windproof jacket on. The ride was nice actually. I was taking my time enjoying the morning. BUT after cycling around a car that "REALLY" needed to get in my lane I hit enough water to cause my tires to lose traction. I went airborne and hit pavement face first. I remember seeing pavement, then seeing sky, and then kissing pavement. As I am laying there in the middle of the road I am thinking "Did I break anything?" I started doing the inventory: Arms? Check. Legs? Check, Check. Can I move? Triple Check. No broken nose, no broken teeth! This is looking good! My AMAZING helmet took most of the impact and I managed to walk away with a split lip and small scrape on my chin. I didn't break anything which is good and only managed to have a couple of pavement scrapes and a few giant bruises. BUT because of this jacket I still have skin on my body! When I hit the ground I slid about 2-3 yards away from my bike. This amazing jacket managed to keep me from losing skin and aside from the blood and pavement marks on my jacket, my jacket did not tear or rip or fray. THIS IS NOW my favorite jacket!

Its a wonderful cycling jacket, works perfectly as a wind breaker in both really cold weather and more fall like temperatures. Great for cold starts...as things warm up the side zippers allow air circulation..the zipper stays holds its 'place' so that when I slip my arms out of the coat and let the coat rest on my hips, the coat stays in place. Expensive, but worth every penny.

This is a great jacket! I commute by bike year round in Chicago, a little rain or snow can't stop me. I've been wearing low end laminate "rain jackets" which all ended up not being waterproof. I finally decided I needed to invest in a good jacket. This jacket was everything I've ever wanted in a jacket! It fits great! The sleeves are long, it's shorter in the front and longer in the back, and is somewhat fitted. I just wish it had a detachable hood, can in some other colors, and had two front pockets.

Bottom line first: I wore this for the first time yesterday biking 13-1/2 miles in a driving rain. It was FABULOUS! I stayed dry and comfortable--it breathed. (My former "breathable/waterproof" rain jacket was like being in a wet over set to 500 degrees.) I purchased four rain jackets to compare, three of which I ultimately returned--Showers Pass Elite with eVent fabric, Novara Verita, Pearl Izumi Barrier WxB, and this Novara Stratos. This was mid-price of the 4, but won hands-down, price notwithstanding. It has decent pockets (two back/side, one on the left arm)--I'd love for it to have front/side--but I never have enough pockets. I also wish it had a hood, but oddly there seem to be few cycling rain jackets that come with them. (The one with the Pearl Izumi in this try-on group was a joke.) Overall I am really, really happy with this choice.
