Comments about The North Face Freedom Insulated Pants - Girls':
These pants are wonderful and I will be ordering another pair for my daughter when she needs the next size up. I will say, that my daughter is on the shorter size so I am not surprised by the other reviews. The length is just right for her when she wears her boots. We have a size 6 and she is around 55 pounds and she is average height for her age group.

Comments about The North Face Freedom Insulated Pants - Girls':
I just ordered these in a size L 14/16 for my 13 year old daughter. She is quite tall (64 inches) and skinny (but not exceptionally) and I was amazed by how short they are! I have lengthened them by unstitching the inner seam and they now just fit in length but are quite wide (need a belt). The next size up would definitely be way too wide. They appear to be good quality but very disappointed by the fit.

Comments about The North Face Freedom Insulated Pants - Girls':
I own TNF Freedom Insulated Pants and am very happy with them. They are very comfortable and have all features I need. I bought same pants for my husband and wanted my daughter to enjoy them too. I was quite dissapointed when I got them. I knew they were running short (order a size up), but was surprised they miss some features adult version of pants have. There is no side vents and waist adjustments. They are still nice pants, but ours went back to the store.

I got this for my daughter on her first ski trip - she loves them! Was skiing in them for 2 days - was warm, dry, and they were more flexible than they look.

Comments about The North Face Freedom Insulated Pants - Girls':
My 7 year old daughter had a 4 hour long ski lesson and I wanted to make sure she would be comfortable. These pants, and a great jacket (see another review) did the trick. A lot of the kids were freezing by the end of the day-It was 30 degrees and the wind was gusting so hard it almost knocked them over. Then it started to sleet. My daughter said she felt warm and cozy the whole day.

Comments about The North Face Freedom Insulated Pants - Girls':
I can't imagine why North Face makes these so short every year. They might fit my daughter if I immediately let down the hem, but what if they don't? I had to return them, but it's hard to find waterproof pants for kids.
