The Smith Vantage snow helmet with Boa® fit system uses top-of-the-line technology to maximize protection for aggressive, big-mountain descents.

Hybrid shell fuses polycarbonate and ABS plastic, creating superior protection with minimal weight
Ventilation system maximizes airflow to reduce performance-inhibiting goggle fogging
Airflow travels from goggles, through internal channels in the foam and out through 21 external vents
Sliding tab opens and close vents in front and rear of helmet; vents are easy to adjust, even with gloves on
Boa lacing replaces traditional helmet fit systems to provide an even fit without pressure points
With a simple twist of the knob, Boa retracts loose cable and dials in a quick, secure closure
Removable strap on the back secures goggles to the helmet

I use the product every day in the winter. It has been through temperatures ranging from -40 to 50 and it's multiple, adjustable ventilation has always kept me comfortable. It is light weight an comfortable.

I do not like the fact that it has one ventilation system that you cannot shut down. When it is windy it blows cold air around your head even with all of the vents closed.

The helmet is also quite expensive.

My last helmet saved my life. I take helmets very seriously when it comes to skiing and racing. This helmet is extremely light, despite its safety rating. I had no difficulty fitting different goggles to the helmet and the fit of goggles against the helmet was great. I was concerned that the small brim would not give me the vision and the feel I wanted. Instead, the brim has aided vision during snow and ventilates the goggles very well.

I rock the vantage all over the mountain. Collar/ear pads keeps the pow out in the back country, and the venting system keeps me cool when hiking park. Recommend smith/skull candy single shot.

Best when used with the smith googles. Helmets are a personal item that one size doesn't fit all. Most of the other Smith helmets didn't fit me as well as this one does. Love the helmet. Almost forgot I was wearing it. Has every feature you want in a helmet. Note: ski helmets are only rated to 15mph. Every few (only race helmet) are rated for higher speeds.

That being said...wear a helmet! And this one is great.
