Comments about The North Face Snow Sneaker III Shoes - Men's:
Living in a small town in Alaska, I can only buy things from REI online. shoes are hard. I wanted a pair of that could give me descent traction on the icy downtown walking routes.
I have an 8.5 Wide (E) men's foot.
I ordered a side 9.5 hoping the extra length would also give me some extra width. But, they were simply too difficult to get my foot into wearing medium-light weight wool sox, let alone wear and walk in.
I can't say anything about the traction on icy surfaces. I wish I could.
Conclusion: Try these on in a store. If you have a wide foot, these will probably not work for you.

Comments about The North Face Snow Sneaker III Shoes - Men's:
Good pair of shoes, but i nearly fell on my rear a couple times while shoveling snow. the Traction is sub par on pavement, but on snowy dirt/grass youre unstoppable. In short, if youre out in the forrest, these shoes are good, otherwise wear a helmet in the city

Comments about The North Face Snow Sneaker III Shoes - Men's:
Perfect for use in the winter around town, they are the same size as a pair of sneakers yet completely waterproof and insulated. I used to just wear shoes but my feet would always get wet in the winter from snow/slush and I would always slip around on ice. We just had our first snow after it had been raining all day so it was full of snow and ice on all the sidewalks and I didn't even slip once and my feet stayed dry and warm. The tread on these shoes is great, and I would definitely recommend them they are worth the price.

Comments about The North Face Snow Sneaker III Shoes - Men's:
Used this shoe in New York city and on cape cod in wet and 30 to 40 degree weather. My feet never became damp or uncomfortable. I have wide feet yet the shoes are a standard width and fit me perfectly. I am very happy with these shoes.
Comments about The North Face Snow Sneaker III Shoes - Men's:
Love the shoe. Definitely a warm shoe so stick to cooler climates. Can get a bit warm if inside all day. Have no complaints other than it went on sale for $30 cheaper 4 days after I bought it.

Product:
It is one of the most comfy pair of shoes I have ever owned. They have great traction, you can wear them in the rain, snow, cold weather... you name it! Stylish, not flashy. Great with jeans. Perfect fit. Although, if you have a thick foot, beware they do not open all the way... sort of like slippers.
The North Face just continues to provide great products.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was super prompt. I got two day shipping and i was able to wear my shoes for Christmas.
