The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Arc'teryx Beta FL Jacket - Men's:
Purchased this just before a trip up to northern Maine and it didn't let me down. It was drizzling/raining throughout the entire hike and winds were over 20mph about treeline. I'm pleased to say that after 8 hours of exposure I was completely dry. This is a great jacket -- one of the most breathable I've ever owned; even layered over an Atom LT Hoodie I was never uncomfortable.

Comments about Arc'teryx Beta FL Jacket - Men's:
Finally got to give this jacket a good try. I'm 5'11", 170 and the fit at first felt a bit close, but I was able to layer it over a light fleece pullover, and Patagonia Nano-Puff jacket, and it still felt fine. It was windy with light rain and even though on a fairly steep climb at 7500', I stayed dry and comfortable, inside and out. I was skeptical about the breath-ability without pit zips but it breathes just fine. The only nit pick I have is that even though I do not have particularly large hands, the sleeve opening at the cuff is really snug

Comments about Arc'teryx Beta FL Jacket - Men's:
This jacket is my new go to jacket for just about everything. It is extreemly light and thin, yet it sheds water and wind like it isn't even there. The construction is top notch, but I have to admit that I just expect that of Arcteryx products; they are all made very well.
I was concerned about the fit as people say the sleves are always too long and the hoods are big. This jacket fits very well and is true to the size chart that Arcteryx advertises.
I own many top drawer Gore-Tex jackets from The North Face, Gore Bike Wear and others. This jacket is one of the nicest I have owned for this type of application. I find myself grabbing it for casual, snowshoeing, hiking and other activities.

Comments about Arc'teryx Beta FL Jacket - Men's:
Excellent item for someone looking for a waterproof shell for their light-and-fast aresenal. The Beta has a tremendous ability to block water from even the nastiest squall while remaining comfortable to wear. I retain my full range of motion even while layered and find that the jacket stays in place on the body. Even when the arms are extended it stays in place well. The arms are a little long (I assume to aid in movement) but this is a non-issue for me due to the ripstick closures. I'm about 6'2 and 185 and went with the large to accomodate layering. The FL has absolutely no insulating properties by itself and a well designed layering system is recommended for cold-weather adventures!! Great product!

Comments about Arc'teryx Beta FL Jacket - Men's:
The Beta FL is great as a lightweight waterproof shell for cool but not cold weather. It's cut slim, so it fits well without layers. That's exactly what I wanted. By comparison, my slightly insulated Arcteryx Stingray is definitely baggier, which makes the Stingray great for layering in the winter. So now I have it all covered. I'm 6'2" and 150 lb, and a size medium in both of these jackets. I know some people complain about the long sleeves with Arcteryx shells, but that's one of the things I really appreciate. It only has the two front pockets, but I don't like to weigh it down anyway. I took a chance and went for the squid color in the Beta FL, and I'm very glad I did. I was concerned this color might get dated too fast, or not look manly enough, but it looks fantastic in person. The only reason I didn't give the Beta FL 5 stars is because, like the Stingray and most other Arcteryx shells, the hood is rediculously big when you're not wearing a helmet. It's got all kind of pull tabs to make it form to your head, but it's still huge. I don't like that, but otherwise, this jacket is great. Btw, it comes with a stuff-sack for carrying.
