Comments about Columbia Greene Trail Rain Jacket - Men's:

Bought this as a rain jacket/shell for backpacking in. Thought I would give it a try since I'm on a budget. It stretches quite a bit, which is nice for movement and fit. However on the parts that stretch the most, it is not waterproof. This would maybe be ok if they were inconspicuous places, but it's the shoulders and back. After getting caught in rain while out hiking, my shoulders, and a lot of my upper body were wet. Luckily it was a warmer day, so it wasn't anything more than irritating. It also isn't too breathable. I was clammy just wearing this and a lightweight base. I'll be returning to find something better.
