Comments about REI Larch Shirt - Women's:
I normally take a large but this runs wide. Will be exchanging to see if a medium works

Comments about REI Larch Shirt - Women's:
From reading the other reviews I ordered a small because I read it ran large. I am 5'2 1/2" at 140 lbs and a large C cup. It was tight over the breasts and hips. I am ordering a medium in hopes it fits better as it is a cute and seemingly comfortable shirt otherwise. Normally I wear a 6 or an 8 blouse. Hope this helps someone else.

Got this in the Graystone, which is actually a flattering shade of purple. At 5"6 and 145lbs, I initially tried the medium on in store but, as one other reviewer noted, this shirt does run wide, and the small was plenty big enough - I wish it were a little more tapered in the waist.
I haven't worn this hiking yet, but it looks so smart that I actually wore it to church, tucked into the black Aventura Logan skirt with a belt and heels and it didn't look out of place, so it can definitely be dressed up with some nice jeans and heels if you want to go for a Southwestern casual-chic style.
Hopefully REI makes more colors and restocks this next year.

Bought this for a year long RTW trip. I haven't actually used it yet but it is very flattering, comfortable, light, and versatile. LOVE the hidden pocket!! Only taking a couple shirts and this is a winner!

Comments about REI Larch Shirt - Women's:
Love this shirt- it's very flattering and comfortable. The fabric is super lightweight and stretchy. It does not smell after I've sweated in it and is "quiet" (not noisy and swishy like some synthetic fabrics). It packs small, is very easy to wash out in the sink and dries quickly. I found it to be true to size. For reference, I'm 5'5", 36a, 124lbs., hips 36" and bought a size small. I have both colors- please make more!

Used for hiking and travel. Plan to use for backpacking as well. Very comfortable, dried well.
Read the reviews on sizing, but I used the online sizing guide and it fit well for me (5'6", slender build).

Comments about REI Larch Shirt - Women's:
I found I needed to order a M when I usually wear a S. The snaps for the roll up sleeves are poorly placed so they hurt when you lean on an elbow. The length at the hips is very unflattering--too long. I am 5' 2 1/2 " tall and it didn't look good on me. It doesn't come in petite.

Comments about REI Larch Shirt - Women's:
I bought this shirt because a. I was looking for something multi-purpose and b. I'm a sucker for pockets! I can wear it pretty much anywhere: work, casual, outdoors, travel... Unlike other shirts with pockets, this one is big enough to fit a passport, which is sweet. I initially wasn't sure how I felt about the purple color, but it has grown on me. I am 5'4", 117 lbs and petite and ordered an XXS, which fits great. I checked the "feels too big" box not because my shirt is too big, but b/c I normally would order a XS or maybe a S, but I'm assuming it runs a little big if the XXS is the perfect size for me. It packs well, doesn't really wrinkle, is light weight... overall a good buy.

Comments about REI Larch Shirt - Women's:
I would buy a 2nd shirt if there were a decent color. The solid color option is called "poppy" but is actually an army green and really unattractive. I wish there were a teal plaid - I'd buy it in a heart beat. Also, the inner snap, for holding up the sleeve, is very hard to use and snap with one hand and when not in use is located in a place that it is right at your elbow if you rest your arm with the sleeve down so you really can't rest on your elbow. Pit zips would be great. Great shirt. Make more and in more colors. Go deep teal! Thanks.
